Instead, opt for items that have a similar color scheme and tell a story about who you are or the message you’re trying to convey.
For example, if your favorite vacation was a trip to Paris with your spouse, add items that tell this. Include a photo of the two of you on the trip, a little figurine of the Eiffel Tower, and a photography book or two about French cooking or fashion.
