POWDER ROOM POW!

While it is the usually the smallest room in the house, it is also the room to which you can add the wow factor without breaking the bank. Powder rooms are a great place to depart from the neutral spaces of the rest of the house and show off your creativity.

Wallpaper is hot right now and so much fun. Even putting wallpaper on the ceiling and painting the walls a deep color can make a dull powder room feel like the best seat in the house.

Metallic gold is so current and a color that is fun to play with in the powder room. Can you add a new light fixture with gold elements? How about painting the ceiling a sparkling gold to add wow to the room? Or add a gold toned mirror and towel rings?

Black and white with gold accents is crisp and bold. It can give a room a feeling of richness without being snobby. You can achieve a current feel with a large scale black and white wallpaper.

The powder room is also a place you can add a touch of whimsy. How about a dog cameo wallpaper, or an oversized flower motif? Don’t hold back because big and bold can work here.
